   * What led up to the situation?
Same problem, and also ark cannot create zip, rar. 7z archive file.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
It can fine to use ark command line.
but when I use ark service menu, It can't expept tar.gz format.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
It says that "failed create the new archive. permissions might not be
sufficient."
